In the near future, part of the H.A.W.X. squadron was stationed there, as well as Copperhead Squadron. After Colonel David Crenshaw was scrambled to investigate a strange convoy, an insurgent shooter fired an RPG at Copperhead One and Crenshaw destroyed the insurgent convoy. After the enemy convoy was destroyed, the base was hit by multiple insurgent cruise missiles, destroying 30 aircraft and killing 400 pesonnel including Colonel Avery, the Commanding Officer of H.A.W.X. Squadron. Then, Crenshaw was captured by the insurgents after his fighter was hit by one of the missiles.
